Built on evidence.
Designed around you.
We combine clinical best practices, expert insight, and lived experience to guide you to the right care — personalised, not standardised.
Everyone deserves access to the right mental health care at the right time.
Mental health needs are not static — they change with life’s circumstances, responses to treatment, and evolving diagnoses. Yet most services are rigid and fragmented, offering either too little or too much, too soon or too late. At Bossa Health, we are building something different: care that adjusts with you.

We use a stepped-care model, recommended by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), which starts with the least intensive, evidence-based treatment suitable for your needs and steps up only when necessary. That might mean beginning with therapy or a clinical assessment, then moving to psychiatry or medication when symptoms persist or become more complex.

This model helps avoid overtreatment and long wait times, while making sure more specialised, costlier services are reserved for those who truly need them. It is efficient, responsive, and tailored to you — not just your diagnosis.

But stepped care only works when the system works together. That is why Bossa Health brings all your care into one team. Our therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, and clinical pharmacists collaborate to understand your needs and respond in real time, so you can step up or down in care without starting over.
The right level of care at the right time
Every individual has a unique experience with their mental health. Even if two people experience similar symptoms, their challenges may be very different. Some people may require more intensive support, such as psychiatry and medication, while others can improve with therapy alone.
What sets Bossa Health apart from other online providers is that we do not stop at therapy. We cater to different levels of symptom severity and complexity. Our users often face moderate to severe psychological distress or functional impairment — whether or not they have a formal diagnosis. Many share a clear need for timely, structured, and specialist-led care that goes beyond low-intensity interventions.
This includes, but is not limited to, people who are:
• Living with persistent symptoms of anxiety, depression, or trauma

• Managing attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)

• Diagnosed with personality disorders or experiencing emotional dysregulation

• Experiencing mood instability or living with bipolar disorder

• Already on psychiatric medication and seeking review or more tailored support

• Experiencing cumulative stress or worsening symptoms that have not responded to stand-alone, low-intensity therapy

• At risk of deterioration in day-to-day functioning, employment, relationships, or quality of life
Bossa Health also supports people at transitional points in care, including those discharged from specialist services but still in need of oversight, or those whose current care is fragmented, delayed, or no longer meeting their needs.
Crucially, users do not need a pre-existing diagnosis to access support. Many come to us having noticed a steady decline in their ability to cope, difficulty maintaining routines or relationships, or the sense that their symptoms are deepening without clear answers or coordinated help. Others are actively seeking a second opinion, a medication review, or a more collaborative approach to care.
At its core, the Bossa Health profile reflects people who are falling through the cracks of traditional services: not in crisis, but no longer able to manage with standard options. They need a system that can respond quickly, integrate multiple disciplines, and adapt care to clinical complexity — and that is what we provide.

The role of
clinical pharmacists
Prescribing pharmacists in the UK are qualified to manage and prescribe medication within their scope, including mental health treatments. At Bossa Health, they handle routine prescribing and titration where appropriate. This frees psychiatrists to focus on complex cases and ensures quicker access to medication support when needed.
Our approach is grounded in clinical research, operational knowledge, and lived experience. We built Bossa Health because care should follow the person — not the system.
